UMass won its only preseason exhibition game of the season, beating Dowling on Saturday night. The Minutemen trailed by as many as 12 early in the game and rallied back in the second half for the win. Senior Ricky Harris led UMass with 28 points. Junior Anthony Gurley added 13.
