AMHERST, Mass. - Join us for Midnight Madness 2006 on Friday, October 13 at the Curry Hicks Cage. The event starts at 9:30 p.m. to allow fans to make their way over from the UMass hockey game at the Mullins Center. There will be plenty of fan give-aways, free T-shirts and many more prizes. The men's and women's teams will compete in a 3-point contest followed by a men's slam dunk contest and a scrimmage.

Announced on Oct. 7: There will be several big give-aways.

  • A chance to win $5,000 with a shootout at the Cage.

  • A chance to win $10,000 in the "Lucky Grab" contest.

  • A chance to win a NEW 2007 Ford car.
