UMass Men's Basketball National & Regional Television Games Announced

AMHERST, Mass. - The Atlantic 10 has released the television schedule for the league's national and regional telecasts on the ESPN and CSTV networks. UMass will play eight games total between the packages. UMass will be on the ESPN Networks three times and on CSTV five times.
The Minutemen will be featured on ESPN or ESPN2 twice, in consecutive weeks. UMass will host Fordham on Feb. 14 at 9 p.m. at the Mullins Center. One week later, UMass will play at Rhode Island one week later on Feb. 21 at 7 p.m. The games will be shown on either ESPN or ESPN2, which will be announced at a later date.
The UMass at Boston College game on Dec. 12 will be carried by ESPNU, tipping off at 9 p.m.
The Minutemen will play a pair of games on CSTV, including the league's first showing on Jan. 2, 2008, when UMass hosts Houston at 7 p.m. The Saint Louis at UMass game on Feb. 17 will also air on CSTV at 2 p.m.
UMass will appear on CSTV's regional Atlantic 10 men's basketball package three times: on Jan. 27, when the Minutemen host Xavier; Feb. 2, when UMass travels to Saint Louis and Feb. 7, when UMass hosts Rhode Island. The times for all of these games are yet to be determined.
Additional local outlets carrying the Atlantic 10 regional basketball games will be announced prior to the season.
