AMHERST, Mass. - The 2011-12 UMass men's basketball team will be hosting a free clinic for all children ages 12 and under at the Big E on Saturday, Sept 17. Head Coach Derek Kellogg and the Minutemen will hold two sessions, 10:30-11:30 a.m. and 2-3 p.m. Both will take place directly in front of the Massachusetts Building and is free with paid admission to the Big E.

The clinic is being sponsored by Mass. Commissioner of Agriculture Scott Soares, the Western Mass. Wood Producers Association, and the Massachusetts Building at the Big E.

UMass players and coaches will be on hand to sign autographs, meet with fans, and will conduct the clinic on a temporary basketball court.

The Big E, the largest fair in the Northeast, is held each year at the 175-acre Eastern States Exposition in West Springfield, Mass.
