SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - New UMass basketball coach and Springfield native Derek Kellogg will be honored by his hometown on May 27 with a proclamation in his name at City Chambers on Court Street in downtown Springfield. Kellogg will be recognized at 6:45 p.m. with the document which acknowledges his success and wishes him luck as head coach at UMass.
