AMHERST, Mass. - Senior Anthony Gurley was named the George "Trigger" Burke MVP at the Court Club Men's Basketball Team Banquet held at the Campus Center on Wednesday night. It was a great night to celebrate the 2010-11 season as Derek Kellogg presented the awards to the roster for the Minutemen.

Gurley finished third in A-10 in scoring and 45th in NCAA with 18.7 points per game. The third-team All-A-10 guard also 4.4 rebounds per game. He scored his 1,000th career point in the season-opener vs. Rider (11/12) and became the 42nd player to score 1,000 points at UMass. He finished with 1,331 points in UMass career, 16th all-time and 1,530 overall including 199 at Wake Forest.
