Ticket & Bus Packages Now On Sale For NIT Semifinals

AMHERST, Mass. - Tickets and bus packages are now available through the University of Massachusetts Department of Athletics for the NIT Semifinals as the Minutemen will play either Stanford or Nevada on Tuesday, March 27 at 7 PM in New York City's Madison Square Garden. The game will be televised nationally on ESPN2.

Tickets for the game are currently on sale now. Student tickets are just $10 while reserved tickets are $45 for Tuesday's doubleheader. Fans can order tickets through, by visiting the Madison Square Garden Ticket Office, or by calling Ticketmaster New York (800-745-3000).

UMass basketball season ticket holders, Minutemen Club donors, and University of Massachusetts Alumni Association Legacy Members should call the Mullins Center Ticket Office at 866-UMASS-TIX (866-862-7789) to order tickets for the game.

Seat locations are TBD and will be assigned based on current donor level and then based on priority points. The deadline for donors and season ticket holders to purchase tickets through the UMass Ticket Office is Friday, March 23 at Noon.

The Department of Athletics in conjunction with the Alumni Association and Student Life will also offer bus packages for Madison Square Garden for both students and fans. The bus packages include the trip to and from New York City along with a game ticket. Student bus packages are $40, while fan bus packages are $95. Both are on sale now online or by visiting the Mullins Center Ticket Office. Season ticket holders should use their current "My UMass Account" log-in information when prompted to complete the bus package buy process online.

The deadline to sign up for the fan bus package is Saturday, while the student bus package deadline is Monday, March 26 at 3 PM. Students can sign up for bus packages at the Mullins Center Ticket Office now through Monday. Students can also pay for the bus package using their UCard at the Mullins Center Ticket Office. On Monday, UMass will also sell bus packages at the Curry Hicks Cage for students as well.



The buses will depart from McGuirk Alumni Stadium on Tuesday beginning at 1 PM with fans being able to park their cars at the stadium.

The Official UMass Pregame Location will be Stout NYC located at 133 West 33rd Street, New York - just two blocks away from Madison Square Garden. Festivities will begin around 3:30 PM.
