2. Wave your towels.
Over 9,000 rally towels will be distributed at the game. How to use: grasp onto one end and wave over your head. Watch this video from the VCU game to see what it looks like when done correctly.
3. Clocks spring forward!
Don't forget to move your clocks one hour ahead this weekend as Daylight Savings Time officially begins on Sunday.
4. Plan to arrive early
With the large crowd expected, fans are encouraged to avoid the last-minute traffic by getting to the arena early. Doors will open at 12:30pm with the game starting at 2:00 p.m. If you are picking up tickets at will call, remember your photo ID and allow 5 to 10 minutes to pick up the tickets.
5. Don't forget that parking is FREE for all UMass Basketball games.
Parking can be found off of Commonwealth Ave. by following "Parking" signs. If using a GPS device, use the following address: Mullins Center, 200 Commonwealth Ave., Amherst, MA 01003. Please note that parking will be tighter than normal due to snow piles and normal work-day parking.
6. Show your UMass Pride!
Wear your newest UMass/Maroon gear to the game and join the UMass faithful in cheering on the Minutemen. Don't have any yet? That's okay because the souvenir stand is located at the main entrance on the North concourse behind section A.
7. Where do I sit if my ticket is in SECTION: GA?
Any tickets in section "GA" are General Admission seats. These tickets are good for any seat in sections XX, Y, Z, A, B, C and CC. Please remember that these seat locations are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, so plan on arriving early to get the best seat possible.
8. I am a Student, how do I enter?
Again, the Student Section has been sold out for this game. Students will need to bring both the yellow ticket that was picked up earlier this week, and their student ID. Students should enter through the South Entrance as they always have.
9. I am a Student, where do I sit?
Students are permitted to sit in the designated Student Sections. Student Sections include ALL seats in sections LL, L, M, N, P, Q, QQ, and R. Student seating is also available in rows 20 and above of section K and rows 26 and above in sections J and S. Please remember that seats in the student sections are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, so plan on arriving early to get the best seat possible.
10. SAAC Food Drive
UMass Student-Athlete Advisory Committee will be conducting a food drive at the game. They are accepting non-perishable food and personal care items inside the entrances of the Mullins Center to benefit the Amherst Survival Center. Some of the most common items needed are soup, vegetables, whole-grain pasta, soap, and shampoo.
