CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -

Boston College continues to lead the all-time series in the Commonwealth Classic, 9-6, since it was started in 1995.

BC leads the all-time series, 25-18, but UMass has won the last two games at Conte Forum.

Anthony Gurley scored 23 points overall for his 11th game in 12 this season in double-figures. It was also his 37th career game with 10 or more points. It was his third game this season and sixth of his career with 20 or more points. It was one off his career high of 24.

Gurley had a career-high 10 rebounds in the game. His previous high was just seven rebounds.

Ricky Harris scored 12 (eight in the second half) for his 11th game this season in double-figures and 75th time in his career. He has scored 10 or more in 72 of his last 77 games.

Sean Carter scored in double-figures for the second time this season and third time in his career with 16 points to set a new career-high.

Sean Carter also had nine rebounds, one off his career-high.

Hashim Bailey had a career-high 10 rebounds.

Hashim Bailey took his third charge of the season midway through the first half.

Neither team attempted a free throw in the first half. The first free throw came with 17:50 left in regulation by Anthony Gurley, who made a pair.

UMass outrebounded BC 26-15 in the first half and 24-18 in the second half.
