AMHERST, Mass. (AP) - Anthony Anderson scored a career-high 22 points, hitting 5-of-6 3-pointers, as Massachusetts ended a three-game losing streak Saturday night with a 67-62 victory over Florida International.

The Minutemen (2-5) led 33-26 at halftime but did not put the game away until Michael Lasme hit a 3-pointer from the corner, and Lasme and Gabe Lee hit free throws for a 62-52 lead with 1:20 to play.

Lee added 12 points for Massachusetts.

Florida International (4-4), which has lost four consecutive games, was led by Junior Matias with 21 points and Eulis Baez with 15.

The game was tied six times in the first half, the last time at 23-23. But Anderson, who had 16 points and four 3-pointers in the half, hit a 3 to put the Minutemen on top for good.

Matias had 11 points in the first half.
