UMass had its highest scoring first-half of the season with 49. It was the most since Feb. 11, 2009 at Fordham, when the Minutemen netted 57.
UMass tied its season-high in made 3-pointers with 12, on 26 attempts. The Minutemen had 12 in the opener at UCF - on 38 attempts.
UMass hot 50 percent from the floor for the second time this season and is now 2-0. UMass is 4-0 when shooting 40 percent.
Ricky Harris scored in double-figures for the eighth time in as many games this season with 19. It was his 72nd career game with 10 or more. He has scored in double-figures in 69 of the last 74 games. He had 14 at halftime.
Harris tied Marcus Camby for 10th on the career free throws made list with three in the game. He now has 308 to pass Camby's 308.
Anthony Gurley continued to score in double-figures in every game this season with 18. He has nine games in a row with 10 or more points and 34 in his career.
Freddie Riley had 12 points, for his fourth game this year in double-figures.
Hashim Bailey had a career-high eight rebounds and career-high three blocks. He also made his first field goals as a Minuteman.
David Gibbs tied his career-high with five rebounds, which he has done two previous times.
Hashim Bailey returned to action and had his first basket this season as well as drawing his first charge.
