Head Coach Steve Lappas on tempo of game:
That game was lost because of the way we allowed the tempo dictate the game. We are a half-court team that runs opportunisticly when we have it and play solid defense, but there was nothing solid about it today. The way they play you can get back in quick because they will let you, but we turned the ball over too much, we had a turnover on the first play of the game.

Lappas on playing an uptempo game:
When we got ahead in the second half, I certainly felt that way. I was hoping at that point that we could get back to what we do and start over again, but that's not what happened.

Lappas on inconsistent shooting:
We really haven't started out shooting well in any game. I am definitely concerned that we have these droughts especially early. We need to address that, try to get our legs under us right away.

Anthony Anderson on fast tempo of game:
They made us play offense faster than we wanted to. They made us do something we didn't want to do.

Anderson on playing Northeastern's style game:
We just have to impose our will. In practice, we have the defense play that style and it was hard for us to get the offense going. Its hard playing that type of game, they are out there denying everything going for a lot of steals, but if you beat a guy you're wide open. They make you take fast shots, which you think are open, but that's exactly what they want you to do.

Anderson on Northeastern Backcourt:
We knew coming in they were going to score, we just wanted them to make a lower percent of shots. We knew Barea was going to score but we wanted to keep Barnes from making a lot of shots and he went 5 for 16 from the field.
