*Syracuse now leads the all-time series between the two teams, 8-6.

*The 107 points scored by UMass were the most ever by an opponent at the Carrier Dome. The old record was 103, held by Notre Dame on Jan. 30, 2007.

*This marked the fifth time in school history that both teams scored over 100 points. The last time was Dec. 28, 1982: North Texas 110, UMass 104.

*Syracuse Head Coach Jim Boeheim is now 0-3 in his career vs. UMass. The Minutemen are the only team that he has faced two or more times without defeating.

*Gary Forbes hit a rare four-point play with 8:24 remaining in the first half. He was the first Minuteman to do so since Ricky Harris connected one year ago, Nov. 28, 2006 vs. Savannah State.

*Forbes scored more than 20 points for the fifth time in six games this season and 13h time in his career.

* Etienne Brower scored in double-figures for the fifth time in six games with 14. Brower has surpassed his entire point total from last season (59) in the first six games of the season (89).

*Chris Lowe tied a career high in assist with nine.

*Ricky Harris had a career-high 25 points and Dante Milligan tied a career-high with 17. Milligan set the career-high this season vs. Yale.

*Syracuse went on a 13-0 run early in the first half. UMass responded with an 8-0 run of their own.

*The last time UMass scored over 100 points was on Feb. 8, 2007. The Minutemen put up 102 against La Salle.

*UMass hit 14-of-31 three point shots. Both categories were one short of tying the school record.

*UMass had an opponent score 100 points for the first time since Dec. 12, 1996 when Fresno State put up 102 against the Minutemen.
