Head Coach Steve Lappas on controlling the boards:
We did a great job on the glass. We out rebounded them 51 to 33. I was upset at having only 4 offensive rebounds in the first half. We did a much better job of rebounding the ball in the second half.

Lappas on play of underclassmen:
We had two freshman come in and give us a tremendous lift, Lawrence Carrier and Jeff Salovski. We had four sophomores, two freshman out there. Its great to see them go out there and play like that together.

Lappas on turnovers:
I think our fourteen turnovers is a little bit skewed. I think four or five were illegal screens, which believe it or not doesn't bother me so much because we emphasize screening so much. If we're going to set four or five hundred screens in a game, I'll take three or four illegal ones.

Lappas on Anderson's play and distribution of points:
What else do you say about Anthony Anderson? He had thirteen rebounds in the game. Its great to see Anthony have six points in the game and win. We couldn't have one a game like this in a million years with Anthony Anderson only scoring six points. You don't even notice it now, where when he didn't score before we almost didn't have a chance. Its good for him to go out there and play and direct these kids that he has out there under him.

Rashaun Freeman on team's play:
We definitely had an intensity out there. The first five or six minutes we didn't come ready to play, but in the second half we stayed with it and got it done.

Freeman on controlling then glass:
As the big men: Me, Stephane, Deli, we crushed them on the glass. Going into the A 10 there is not that many big men, so we can crush them on the glass and be successful.

Lawrence Carrier on extended playing time:
It felt great, the guys are out there working hard, we got a good win. It's the first time we have been 2-0 in a long time. I t doesn't matter if I score or not, I'm out there just to try to get rebounds. Everyday in practice I am competing against these guys, so it helps me get more confidence in my game.
