Postgame Notes: UMass Takes On St. Francis

UMass is now 3-0 all-time against St. Francis (N.Y.), beating the Terriers in 2002, 2006 and 2009.

Ricky Harris remains to 11th in career scoring with 10 points, he now has 1,416. Next on the list is Horace Neysmith (1,428).

Harris continued to score in double-figures in every game this season and in 65 of his last 70. Overall in 102 career games, he has more than 10 in 68 games.

Anthony Gurley scored in double-figures for the fourth game in a row this season with a game-best 18. Overall, he has 30 career games with 10 or more.

UMass' four freshmen (Sampson Carter, Javorn Farrell, Freddie Riley, Terrell Vinson) combined for 43 points. Within the game's first 7:30, all four UMass freshmen scored points.

Freddie Riley scored in double-figures for the third time in four games this season with 12.

Terrell Vinson reached double-figures for the third game in a row with 13.

Sampson Carter had a career-high with 13 points. It was his first time in double-figures.

The Minutemen hit six of their first nine 3-point field goal attempts and finished 9-of-19 from beyond the arc.

Trey Lang had his first-career field goal, late in the first half.

A season-best nine Minutemen scored in the game.
