• UMass is now 12-12 all-time in NIT games including 2-0 against Seton Hall. The Minutemen defeated Seton Hall 86-85 in the NIT on March 10, 1977 at the Springfield Civic Center. UMass will make its third all-time appearance in the NIT Quarterfinals including its first since 2008. The last Quarterfinal appearance for UMass was the comeback win at Syracuse on March 25, 2008 - the year UMass went to the NIT Championship game against Ohio State.

• UMass' 24 wins is tied for the sixth-most in a single season for program history. UMass also had 24 wins in 1992-93 and 2006-07.

Sean Carter posted 11 rebounds for the game marking his 6th game of the season with double-figure rebounds and the 14th time in his career. He also scored 11 points for his 4th double-double of the year.

Chaz Williams scored 20 points for his 33rd double-figure scoring game of the season and the 49th of his career. The game marked his 12th 20-point game of the season. His 6 assists moved him 14 assists closer to second all-time in a single-season at UMass - currently 238 by Cary Herer in 1990.

Raphiael Putney netted 15 points going 5-of-7 from the floor for his 19th double-figure scoring game of the season.

Terrell Vinson scored eight of his 10 points in the second half - all in the final 6:27 of play after Seton Hall had take a 60-58 lead.
