Men's Basketball Flattens Fordham, 67-54

Massachusetts (11-14, 5-9 Atlantic 10) led 58-40 with about nine minutes to play, but Fordham used a 13-3 run to pull within 61-53 with 4:07 to play. The Minutemen hit their free throws down the stretch to win it.
Free throws proved to be Fordham's undoing. The Rams (8-17, 4-10), who scored a season-low 54 points in their seventh consecutive loss, were just 9-of-25 from the line (36 percent).
The Rams led for the first 10 minutes of the game, but six straight points by Rhymer followed by six consecutive from Raheim Lamb gave the Minutemen a 27-22 lead with 5:30 to play in the first half. UMass led 37-29 at halftime.
Anderson was 5-of-8 on 3-pointers. Adrian Walton led the Rams with 15 points
