UMass vs. La Salle Post Game Notes

Maxie Esho scored a career-high 18 points, going 7-9 from the field; previous high of 12 twice. He also made a career-high 7 field goals. He also led the team in points and tied for leading scorer in the game with Earl Pettis of La Salle.
Raphiael Putney scored 17 points (6-15 from the field, 3-6 from beyond the arc) and grabbed 7 rebounds. Putney made his first four field goals and scored 11 of UMass' first 13 points. He ended the first half with 13 points.
Chaz Williams tied his career high assists with 10 tonight. He also grabbed seven rebounds and scored 11 points. He now has 161 assists this season, one shy of tying current UMass head coach Derek Kellogg for the school record by a sophomore.
This is the first loss UMass has suffered at home since they lost to Dayton 78-50 last season on March 8. The Minutemen are now 12-1 at home this season. The 11-game win streak at the Mullins Center is the third-longest in the 19-year history of the facility.
UMass lost consecutive games for the first time this season.
