UMass played its first overtime game since the 2007 NIT win over Alabama, 89-87, on March 15, 2007.

It was UMass' first regular-season overtime game since Feb. 23, 2005, a 7064 win over Rhode Island. UMass has played three overtime games since then, two in the A-10 Tournament and one in the NIT.

Gary Forbes continued to score in double-figures in every game this season with 12. He has scored 10 or more in 27 games in a row.

Forbes had his sixth double-double of the year as he also had 12 rebounds. Forbes had a season-best seven assists.

Etienne Brower scored in double-figures for the fifth game in a row and 16th time this season with 21 points. It was Brower's fourth game this year with 20 or more points with three in the last four games.

Ricky Harris scored in double-figures for the 21st time in 23 games this season with 14.

Chris Lowe broke the 10-point mark for the third game in a row and 13th time this season with 11.

Lowe tied his career-high with eight rebounds. He set it on Jan. 11, 2006 against Saint Joseph's

UMass is now 1-10 all-time at the Liacouras Center and 4-23 against Temple in Philadelphia alltime.
