UMass improved to 33-29 all-time against Saint Joseph's. The Minutemen are also 20-10 in Amherst and have won the last four in the Mullins Center.
The Mullins Center celebrated the 20th anniversary of the first game, Feb. 4, 1993, an overtime win over West Virginia.
Led by Chaz Williams' nine assists, the Minutemen handed out a season-high 22 assist on the night, while also turning the ball over a season-low five times.
UMass improved to 11-1 on the year when holding opponents under 70 points.

Sampson Carter finished with 16 points marking his fourth double-figure game this season and a career high in conference play.
Cady Lalanne had a game-high 12 rebounds for his sixth double-figure rebound game this year and seventh in his career. He also had nine points.
UMass finished with a season-high 10 slam dunks. A total of five different players had those dunks, also a season-high.
The Minutemen shut-out Saint Joseph's on fast break points 12-0 - their second-consecutive game shutting a team out on fast break points. They also outscored Rhode Island 12-0 on Wednesday night.
