Travis Ford On The Win:
"I liked our focus tonight. You could see it in our eyes, we needed this game. Our guys played harder than they ever played. I'm very proud of our efforts. I'm proud of our basketball team. We were very focused. Pour backs were against the wall and we needed to play 40 minutes and very hard. I was excited about our intensity and focus.
"We created offense with our rebounds and created shots with our defense. We really have been concentrating on offensive rebounding and assists. We had great effort on both ends tonight."
Ford On The Defenses:
"We changed defenses a lot. Man-to-man, zone. We sustained very serious foul trouble. When Gary Forbes and Chris Lowe had to go to the bench we looked to Sedale Jones, a walk-on and Gary Correia, a freshman, to handle the ball. We had to pay attention to changes from Duauesne and continue with focus on defense."
Ford on offense:
"Our shooters made shots tonight. (Duquesne has) a great style of basketball and gets teams thinking. We have done a good job simulating their offense in the last two days and that made the difference."
Ford On Duquesne:
"They've become a good team, a heck of a team, and this is a tough place to play. We deserved this win. We've earned it."
Ford On Gary Forbes:
"Gary Forbes had his best game in a long time. He was our best player on the court. His play-making ability was incredible."
Tony Gaffney On The Game:
"All week in practice, Coach Ford stressed the inside game. I like to do anything to help my team win. Sometimes, that means three, four blocks a game. I just have a knack for it.
"It was big. We were coming off two losses and saw this as a must-win game. We were not leaving here without a win. As a team we did a lot of soul-searching. If we play as well as we can, we're one of the best teams in this league."
Etienne Brower On Shooting:
"I've kept shooting them the same way. I haven't changed the way I've been shooting. They're just going down again."
