Head Coach Steve Lappas On The Close Win:
"I'm happy we won, but I'm not happy with our first half performance. I thought we played very well and executed our plays in the second half and the overtimes. Take nothing away from St. Bonaventure, they played very well and their guys hit some incredible shots tonight. I told my guys, with one minute to go - the further the game progresses, the better we are. St. Bonaventure made some unbelievable shots, but we did well on both ends.""
Lappas On His Halftime Talk With The Team:
"I didn't yell, I just told them we couldn't play like we did in the first half and expect to win. When we put ourselves in situations like that by turning the ball over the way we did in the first half, we are putting ourselves in danger."
Lappas On The Play of Stephane Lasme:
"This was definitely the best game of his career. If he's active on the glass, he starts to be more confident in the game. He was a beast on the offensive glass and that fed his offensive game. He had six of our 10 offensive rebounds tonight and that says a lot. People are game-planning for him every game, but he had 18 points in the second half. He had a tremendous effort today, I told him he has to be the best offensive rebounder in the league."
Lappas On Overtime Games This Season:
"I was laughing to myself when we ended regulation tied. I told the guys that we were good with overtime games and that I knew if we kept it close, then we had a chance the way we were playing this season."
Stephane Lasme On His Performance:
"I just did what coach asked me to do all week. He asked me to take over more and be more aggressive in games and that's what i did."
Lasme On The Team In Overtime:
Bonnies Head Coach Anthony Solomon:
"We played with our hearts in the overtime periods. We don't worry about things when we have overtimes, we just go out there and play. I was just happy to be able to help my teammates out today and get the win."
"Exciting ball game, a very exciting basketball game. There were two very good teams. They were a group of young men who made me proud tonight with their consistent effort to improve. I am extremely proud of them."
