  • Anthony Gurley scored 30 points, one shy of his high of 31 set on opening night vs. Rider (11/12/10). This was his second-career game with more than 30 points.

  • Anthony Gurley scored 30 points and now has 1,130 in his UMass career and 1,329 overall (199 at Wake Forest). Gurley moved to 30th on the all-time UMass list passing No. 32 Mike Williams (1,122) and No. 31 Gary Forbes (1,128). Next on the list is No. 29 Lari Ketner (1,148).

  • Gurley scored 20 points for the ninth time this season and 19th time in his career with his 30.

  • Gurley reached double-figures in the first half with 13 and has 66 games with double-figures in his career.

  • Gurley's six 3-pointers made set a new career-high. His previous best was five vs. Hofstra (12/20/08). He also attempted a career-high 11 treys to pass his former high of 10 vs. Duquesne (2/25/09).

  • Javorn Farrell scored in double-figures for the third game in a row with seventh time this season with 16. Its his ninth career-game with 10 or more.

  • Sean Carter tied his career high with three steals.

  • Sampson Carter drew his sixth charge of the season, to tie for the lead on the team.

  • Putney also drew an offensive foul late in the first half.

  • Richmond has won three in a row in the series and leads the series 8-4.
