OLEAN, N.Y. (AP) - Patrick Lottin scored 22 points to lead Saint Bonaventure past Massachusetts (5-9, 0-3 Atlantic 10), 77-71, Wednesday night in Olean, N.Y.

Saint Bonaventure (5-9, 1-2 Atlantic 10) took the lead for good in the opening minutes of the second half with a 12-2 run, including two 3-pointers by Lottin. He also led the Bonnies with six rebounds.

Marques Green had 15 points and six assists for St. Bonaventure, which snapped a five-game losing skid. Ahmad Smith added 17 points and seven rebounds.

Anthony Anderson had 26 points, eight rebounds and three steals for UMass, which dropped its fifth straight. Rashaun Freeman added 19 points for the Minutemen.

UMass returns to action this Sunday, Jan. 14 at it travels to Duquesne for a 12:00 p.m. contest. The game will be televised on the Atlantic 10 network and shown locally on NESN.
