NEW YORK (AP) - Freshman guard Adrian Walton was 10-for-15 from the field and scored a season-high 25 points as Fordham snapped a five-game losing streak with a 95-86 victory over Massachusetts on Saturday.

William "Smush" Parker had 19 points for the Rams (5-9, 1-2 Atlantic 10), while Duke Freeman-McKamey added 15 points and 15 rebounds as Fordham finished with a 55-38 rebound advantage. The Rams dominated inside on both ends, outscoring Massachusetts 62-24 in the paint.

Shannon Crooks had 24 points for the Minutemen (6-7, 0-2), who lost fourth straight, while Jameel Pugh added 22.

Walton's layup and jumper paced a 6-1 run that opened the second half and gave Fordham a 46-40 lead at 18:23. UMass answered with a 6-1 of run of its own to get within 47-46 with 16:53.

Five players then scored for Fordham in an 11-2 run that put the Rams up 58-48 with 14:23 to play. Parker's layup with 4:26 to play gave Fordham its biggest lead, 81-67.
