AMHERST, Mass. (AP) - Scooter McFadgon was Tennessee's leading scorer with 22 points Saturday night, pushing the team to a 74-66 victory over Massachusetts.

Massachusetts (5-6) led 27-26 at halftime, but soon fell victim to the Tennessee pressure defense in the second half.

A 13-2 run in the second half featured three 3-pointers, two by C.J. Watson, which put Tennessee ahead 42-31.

Watson contributed a total of 14 points for Tennessee (8-1). Brandon Crump had 10 for the Vols.

Massachusetts fell behind by as many as 13 points in the second half, but Gabe Lee wound up with a game-high 23 points for the Minutemen. Anthony Anderson added 15 points and Maurice Maxwell had 12.
