J.J. Boylan is in his third season as manager for the UMass men's basketball team, and in his second season as co-head manager with Matt Langer. Boylan assists the program in all aspects of its day-to-day operations, including assisting the coaches and staff with operational activities and the execution of daily workouts.

Boylan completed an internship with the New Jersey Nets in the summer of 2009 where he gained valuable experience in a variety of areas, including maintaining of their college scouting database, season handbook for player personnel, and assisting the coaching and training staff with daily workouts.

Boylan has also served as a camp counselor and coach at numerous basketball camps.

Boylan is a 2008 graduate of Morris Knolls High School in Denville, N.J. where he graduated with academic honors and a 4.0 GPA.

A Psychology major, Boylan is slated to graduate in May 2012.
