AMHERST, Mass. - The three-game Atlantic 10 Conference series between the University of Massachusetts baseball team and the University of Richmond has been postponed due to soggy field conditions. The games will be made up on May 21 and 22.

Delays this season have accounted for the latest UMass baseball home-opener in over ten years. The Minutemen opened the 1993 home campaign on April 6 with a 10-1 victory over Amherst College.

Additionally, the UMass baseball game against Hartford has been rescheduled for Wednesday, May 19 at 3:00 p.m. on Lorden Field.

UMass baseball (7-7) returns to action with a non-conference match up against Holy Cross on Tuesday, April 6 on Lorden Field. First pitch is slated for 3:00 p.m.
