AS A SOPHOMORE 2006: Made 10 appearances, two of them starts ... Posted a 2-2 record with a 4.96 ERA in 16.1 innings pitched ... Earned the win at South Florida (3/11), pitching three innings of relief and giving up one earned run ... Gave up only one earned run in 5.1 innings to earn the win at Rollins College (3/21) ... Pitched 1.2 innings of shut out relief vs. Duquesne (4/9), allowing one hit and striking out two.
AS A FRESHMAN 2005: Made 12 appearances for the Minutemen, including three starts ... Went 1-2 on the season, pitching 28 2/3 innings with a 8.16 ERA ... Allowed 41 hits and 18 walks ... Worked 5 2/3 innings, allowing one run on five hits with eight strikeouts in a 6-1 loss to Yale (3/13) ... Threw 1 1/3 innings of scoreless relief to pick up his first collegiate win in a 15-10 victory over Siena (5/3) ... Pitched 2 1/3 innings in relief allowing no runs on one hit and two walks against Temple (5/7).
BEFORE UMASS: Four year varsity starter and two year captain of the Purple Knights coached by Tom Basil ... Ace of the Knight's staff compiling a 6-2 record with three saves while posting a 1.76 ERA and 67 strikeouts ... Finished his career at Holyoke with at 14-10 record with four saves and a 1.91 ERA with 200 strikeouts and just 66 walks ... A three time All-Valley League selection and a two time All-Western Mass was selected to play in the Central Mass.-Western Mass. All- Star game in 2004... Named Most Outstanding Pitcher at Holyoke High in 2004 ... Was a tremendous football player who threw for over 4,000 yard and 40 touchdowns in his career ... Named team MVP his senior season and left Holyoke as the schools all time leading passer.
