Threw a complete-game, three-hit shutout vs. Vermont, striking out six
Downed Fordham, giving up only two earned runs in seven innings
Allowed only two earned runs in six innings to defeat St. Bonaventure
Combined to shutout Fairfield, allowing only one hit in five innings
Earned save at La Salle, allowing one run and one hit in three innings
Gave up one run on two hits in five innings of work at Oral Roberts
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2000:
Made 12 appearances, starting seven times
Served as No. 3 starter for most of season
Struck out eight, and allowed only an unearned run on four hits in 7-1/3 innings of relief to down George Washington in A-10 Tournament
Named to All-Atlantic 10 Championship Team for that performance
Struck out a career high 10 batters, while walking just one in complete game seven-hit win over La Salle
Allowed no earned runs and struck out five in eight innings vs. UConn
AS A FRESHMAN IN 1999:
Tied for team lead with 10 relief appearances
Struck out three in two perfect innings of relief against Lafayette
Earned save in 8-7 win at Holy Cross, striking out two in one inning
Downed Harvard in relief in Beanpot semifinals, throwing 4-1/3 innings while allowing four runs on seven hits and striking out three
Allowed a run on two hits in two innings of relief for win over Yale
HIGH SCHOOL:
Won three letters in baseball and two in basketball at Chelmsford H.S.
Captain of both baseball and basketball teams his senior year
Had a 17-1 career record with a 1.22 ERA, while batting .385
Helped team to Merrimack Valley Conference Championship
Selected Lowell Sun Player of the Year and team MVP in senior year
Named All-Eastern Mass., all-state, All-Merrimack Valley Conference, and both Boston Globe and Boston Herald All-Scholastic as a senior
Honorable mention All-American by USA Today his senior year
Named MVP of Connecticut-Massachusetts All-Star Game as a senior
