AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2005: Started 48 games for UMass at second base ... Hit .238 with an .329 OBP, scoring 16 runs and slugging seven extra base hits out of the nine slot ...Went 1-3 with a walk in a 3-2, extra inning loss to Delaware ... Drilled two doubles against Yale (3/31) ... Hit his first collegiate home run, a three run blast, in a 7-4 loss to Holy Cross (4/5) ... Went 3-4 with a run scored against Boston College in a 8-6 loss in the Beanpot Consolation game at Fenway Park ... Scored two runs, and drove in another, in route to a 15-10 victory at Siena (5/3) ... Hit a two run single in the ninth inning to give UMass a 3-2 victory over Temple (5/8) ... Was 2-4 at the plate with a double and two runs scored to lead the Minutemen to a 15-8 victory over Maine (5/10) ... Had two hits and a run scored in the Minutemen's 14 inning marathon 6-5 victory over the Rams of Rhode Island (5/15) ... Ended the season with a four game hitting streak during which he hit .353.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2004: Appeared in 29 games while starting 26 ... Finished the season with a .181 batting average, four runs scored and four RBI ... Went 1-1 with a RBI against Rider, the first game of his collegiate career (3/7) ... Was 2-3 with a run scored against UConn (4/14)... Drove in two runs in a 10-0 victory over St. Joseph's (4/17) ... Had two hits and scored a run in a 4-3 loss to Northeastern (4/20).

BEFORE UMASS: Played second base and shortstop at Chelmsford High School for head coach Mike O'Reefe ... A member of a team that steadily improved throughout his time going 8-12, 9-11, 22-3 (Merrimack Valley Conference champions) and 14-7 (Merrimack Valley Conference champions) during his four years ... A three-time selection as a first team Merrimack Valley All-Star and a Legion All-Star ... He hit .328 with 14 RBIs and nine extra-base hits including seven doubles and a pair of triples as a senior captain ... Left Chelmsford with a career .360 batting average and four home runs ... Named the 2003 Chelmsford High School Outstanding Athlete ... Also a member of the basketball team under head coach Charlie Micol ... Played point guard and served as team captain his senior year ...
