Struck out six and allowed three runs in five innings vs. Sacred Heart
HIGH SCHOOL:
Starred on the mound for coach Norm Walsh at Boston College H.S.
Helped lead Eagles to 83-20 overall record during his four years on team, while twice serving as team captain
Posted 25-4 career mark, setting a school record for wins
Finished his career with 263 strikouts
Named Eastern Mass. All-Star three-consecutive seasons
Catholic Conference MVP in both sophomore and senior seasons
Three-time selection to Boston Globe All-Scholastic Team
