Appeared in 45 games, starting 41 times
Tied for the team lead with 27 walks on the season
Tied for fourth on the team with 12 stolen bases
Stood sixth on the team with a .385 on-base percentage
Had nine multiple-hit games on the year
Hit a solo homer and scored three runs in 8-7 win over Dayton
Hit a three-run homer and walked three times against Harvard
Went five for nine in a three-game series with Dayton, while driving in three runs and scoring five times
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 1999:
Played both first base and the outfield
Started and hit in the last nine games of the season, going 12 for 33 with two doubles, a triple, two RBI and seven runs scored
Collected six RBI in a five game stretch from April 21 to May 1
Went 13 for 32 (.406) with three doubles, a triple, four RBI and eight runs scored in Atlantic 10 regular season games
Hit game-winning two-run homer (his first collegiate home run) in the seventh inning to break 8-8 tie in 11-8 victory over Vermont
Went four for nine with four runs scored in St. Bonaventure series
Had a career-high three hits, going three for four with his first career triple, an RBI and four runs scored in win over St. Joseph’s
AS A FRESHMAN IN 1998:
Went one for five in first collegiate start against Vermont
Had an RBI in first collegiate at bat with a pinch-hit vs. South Florida

Played baseball and football at Central High School
Captained both squads during senior year
Batted .359 with three homers and a .700 slugging percentage in 1996

Helped baseball team to Western Mass. quarterfinals in senior year

Brother, Doug, was an All-American selection for the Minutemen, and is now playing in the San Francisco Giants organization
