BEFORE UMASS: Three year varsity pitcher and shortstop for David Buckley at Frontier Regional ... Captained the team his senior campaign ... Three-time first team All-Western Mass team ... Named offensive player of the year at Frontier as well as an all-scholastic team member by the Daily Hampshire Gazette ... A talented all around athlete he was named first team All-Western Mass in both football and basketball both his junior and senior seasons ...
