AS A SENIOR IN 2008:

  • Played in 41 games, starting in 41 ... Finished with a .274 (40-146) average, eight doubles, one triple, three home runs, 19 RBI, 18 runs, and one stolen base ... Led the team in sacrifice bunts with 10.
  • Hit a home run and scored twice in a win vs. Fordham (5/15).
  • Had game winning RBI in the bottom of the 15th inning in the third game of a weekend series against Dayton (5/4).

    BEFORE UMASS: Four year varsity starter at third base and outfield for the Sentinels coached by Vin Zibelli ... Captained the team his senior season and lead the squad to a 15-3 record and the first state championship in Smithfield history ... Hit .545 with six home runs, a .615 OBP and an .802 slugging percentage ... Named first team all-state by the Providence Journal ... Named first team all-division, division player of the year, and division MVP by the RI Coaches Association in 2004 ... Also lettered in basketball, football and indoor track ...
