Members of UMass' staff will present on pro-active academic advising for at-risk students.
Casey Stark joined the University of Massachusetts in 2013 as Assistant Director of Learning Enhancement in Academic Support Services.
Her primary responsibilities include coordinating all facets of the Learning Enhancement Program including assisting student-athletes with documented learning disabilities and/or attention deficits in accessing academic accommodations, supervising the tutoring program, and coordinating academic support and assistive technology for those students deemed academically at-risk. Additionally, Stark serves as academic counselor to women's tennis.
Stark came to UMass from Bowling Green State University where she served as Interim Assistant Director of Student-Athlete Services in addition to working in Disability Services and the Department of Recreation and Wellness while earning her Master of Art in College Student Personnel (conferred May 2013). Stark is a 2011 graduate of Bradley University in Illinois with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Special Education.
