Athletic Department Staff
Tami Drummond has worked in the UMass student-athlete services since 1994 first serving as an academic counselor and is now Associate Director of Student-Athlete Academic Services.
She is currently responsible for the student-athlete services for the football, women's lacrosse, women's tennis and women's swimming teams. She is also serves as Life Skills Coordinator and teaches a one-credit freshman seminar for student-athletes and a one-credit community engagement seminar. Drummond has worked in all areas of student-athlete services over her tenure at UMass and is Certified by the National Association of Academic Advisers for Athletes. A 1993 graduate of UMass with a bachelor's degree in Sport Management, Drummond also earned her master's degree from UMass in 1996 in Higher Education. She previously worked in various tennis programs as well as in media relations at Dartmouth College and with the AHL's Springfield Indians.
Drummond lives in Belchertown and is married to Jason, the couple has two daughters Rachel and Amber.
