Kim Callicoate
Associate Athletic Director for Compliance Services Kim Callicoatte was named the new Associate Athletic Director for Compliance Services in February 2009. Callicoatte arrived at UMass from Sacred Heart University where she served as the Senior Associate Director of Athletics and Senior Woman Administrator for nine years. She has also been a member of various NCAA committees and cabinets during her career and is currently a member of the NCAA Administration Cabinet. At Sacred Heart, Callicoatte oversaw 17 Division I sports and was responsible for the compliance of all of the school's teams, which included over 750 athletes and 32 sports. Callicoatte was recently certified by the NCAA and founded the Intercollegiate Compliance Committee, while she was also a member of the committee. During her time at Sacred Heart she was also responsible for scheduling all events at the William Pitt Center and field turf. Before joining Sacred Heart, Callicoatte served as the Senior Woman Administrator as well as the Head Women's Basketball Coach and an instructor for the Department of Kinesiology as Texas Lutheran University for six years. Callicoatte was a member of numerous campus-wide committees during her time at TLU while she was also responsible for all compliance activities as the school moved from the NAIA to NCAA Division II. As an instructor, Callicoatte taught such courses as History of Sport and Health-Related Fitness while she also served as an advisor for 15 kinesiology students per year. Callicoatte received a Maters of Education in Exercise Physiology at the University of Texas at Austin after graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science from Trinity University.
