The weekly event known as the UMass Sports Luncheon has resumed for 2008-09. The luncheons, which begin at noon on Wednesdays, are open to the public. For the $10 cost attendees receive a salad-to-dessert meal as well as a variety of guest speakers, ranging from coaches, athletes, and administrators. Unless otherwise noted, the UMass Luncheon is held at the Campus Center in room 1009. The UMass/Dinn Bros. Athlete of the Week is also honored at each Sports Luncheon. Two hour parking passes can be picked up for $2 when you pay for your meal.
