Graduate Assistant Job Description



The Sports Medicine Program at the University of Massachusetts is seeking Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainers for the 2012-2013 Academic Year (Fall & Spring Semesters).

Duties
Coordinate athletic injury care for one in-season and one out-of-season men's or women's athletic teams. Provide rehabilitation services to all members of the athletic program during specific athletic training room rehabilitation treatment hours. Mentor athletic training students.

Stipend
Tuition Waiver plus a stipend and approximately 95% of health insurance paid. Summer employment is optional.

Qualifications
Applicants must be NATABOC certified and must qualify for Massachusetts State Licensure. Applicant must apply and be accepted to a graduate program at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.
