Zywicki, who was also named Inside Lacrosse's National Player of the Week, scored a game-high six goals in UMass' 16-15 win over Syracuse on Sunday in the NCAA Tournament First Round. Zywicki also added an assist and is now part of the duo (with Sean Morris) that has eclipsed the 40-goal plateau for the first time since 1981.

He moved to 15th all-time in career points with 142 and also moved to 9th all-time in career goals with 99. This season, Zywicki has 42 goals, breaking his former single-season best of 41 set in 2003, along with eight assists for 50 points.

Torra, who pitched his seventh complete game of the season on Saturday vs. the Rhode Island Rams, increased his season record to 5-3 with the 3-1 win. Versus the A-10 regular season champs, Torra held the Rams to three hits and one run with a 1.29 ERA.

His nine strikeouts moved him up to third of the Minutemen all-time list with 213. Overall this season, the ace holds a 1.13 ERA. UMass went on to win its second conference series after Sunday's 6-5 win in 14 innings.
