Congrats to former UMass women's lacrosse standout Meghan Reddy who was named the assistant coach at New Hampshire on Tuesday. Reddy had spent the 2009-10 year as head coach of the Exeter Area High School girls varsity lacrosse team and also served as head coach of soccer and basketball at Timberlane Middle School. She is a native of Salem and still holds the single-season record at UMass for draw controls (77, 2009) and career draw controls (123). From 2006-09, Reddy played in 70 games scoring 87 points (64g, 23a). The UMass/UNH series is the longest in program history at 41 all-time meetings as the two teams have played every year since 1976.

Fun Fact: Reddy completes the hat trick of the 2009 senior class who became college lacrosse coaches. Jackie Rosenzweig is an assistant coach at C.W. Post taking the position after graduating from UMass. Holly Drown was named head coach at Saint Anslem College earlier this summer.
