UMass softball signee Taylor Carbone recently had a four-day stretch of winning championships and collecting awards that not many people can lay claim to... especially when you consider she did it for the second-consecutive season.
The 5-foot-10 right-handed pitcher and first baseman at Alvirne HS was named the New Hampshire Gatorade Softball Player of the Year on Wednesday and led the Broncos to Division I state title with a 5-1 win over top-ranked Salem HS on Saturday. She won both awards a year ago as a junior also.
