Collegian: UMass lacrosse forges on with youthful roster

UMass men's lacrosse sports a roster heavy on youth in 2015, with 24 student-athletes in their first of second seasons and only 13 in at least their third year with the program. Jason Kates spoke to head coach Greg Cannella and freshmen Buddy Carr and Peter Lindley for a story on the youthful look to the roster this season.

Inside Lacrosse: UMass Fall Ball All-Access

Inside Lacrosse staff writer Matt Kinnear stopped by Amherst, Mass., and visited a UMass men's lacrosse practice to catch some fall ball preparations. Check out Kinnear's report regarding the Minutemen below:

A trio of soon-to-be Minutemen in Buddy Carr, Jake Lisauskas and Dom St. Laurent were picked to the New Hampshire Division I Boys Lacrosse All-State First Team. In addition to the trio being picked for all-state, Carr and St. Laurent shared the Co-Offensive Player of the Year Award.

St. Laurent competed for Bishop Guertin, which won the Division I New Hampshire Boys Lacrosse Championship over Lisauskas' Pinkerton squad. Carr played scholastically at Exeter, which fell to Pinkerton in the semifinals of the state tournament despite two tallies from the UMass signee.

The UMass incoming freahmen 2014 New Hampshire Division I Boys Lacrosse All-State Players of the Year and First Team are listed below:
