The NFHCA noticed UMass' success and awarded the Minutewomen the No.19 spot in their national rankings this week. Senior midfielder Kim Young also received accolades following a pair of goals and an assist on the weekend, taking home UMass Athlete of the Week honors.
Peter Cappiello of The Daily Collegian focused on how U.S. National Team player and UMass assistant coach Shannon Taylor is helping improve the current squad.
