"I think at the end of day, my philosophy has been to give multiple looks and blitz from different angles with different people," said Masella, who previously coached the defense at UMass under Whipple from 2002-03. "We're not only playing 3-4. We'll play other things. For me, that allows us to be multiple. "That's the biggest difference from a year ago."
