University of Massachusetts men's lacrosse alumnus and Boston Cannons defenseman Jack Reid (2003-06) is in the middle of a fundraising effort for St. Baldrick's Foundation, which is a volunteer-driven charity that raises money for the battle against childhood cancer. Reid is joined by teammates Matt Smalley, Jordan Burke, Brodie Merrill, Eric Hagarty and head coach John Tucker in the on-going fundraising project.
Read more about the reasons behind Reid's support of St. Baldrick's Foundation through the Boston Cannons website. Fans can support Reid through his page on the St. Bandrick's website. The event will culminate in a St. Baldrick's signature head-shaving event postgame on Aug. 9 after the Cannons host the Rochester Rattlers. All six participants will get bald to stand in solidarity with kids with cancer.
