Former University of Massachusetts men's lacrosse standout Kevin Leveille (2000-03) and the United States National Team claimed the No. 1 seed in the knockout round and advanced to the quarterfinals of the FIL World Championship with an 18-5 victory over the Iroquois Nationals on Tuesday evening.
In the victory, Leveille scored once for Team USA to bump his tournament total to nine points (eight goals, one assist). The U.S. side continues competition on Thursday, July 17 against the winner of the Israel-Australia contest set to be played on Wednesday, July 16 at 7 p.m. Read more on the U.S. win below:
