The staff at Inside Lacrosse gave UMass men's lacrosse alum and current Rochester Rattlers attackman Kevin Leveille (2000-03) a nod in their weekly "Winners & Losers" piece. Check it out:

Kevin Leveille -- Congrats to arguably the game's most humble player for breaking MLL's all-time goals record. The UMass grad and 10-year MLL veteran scored his 271st career pro outdoor goal in dramatic fashion over the weekend, giving the Rattlers a double-overtime win over Chesapeake. Few in the game are as effective getting the ball in the goal as Leveille. He was snubbed from the last U.S. Team in 2010, and is back in the mix for this year's squad for Denver. Here's to him giving Team USA a dangerous inside finishing threat at the World Championships.

MLL Records -- The vets just can't be stopped in Major League Lacrosse. Kevin Leveille broke the all-time goals record in a double-overtime win late last week. Casey Powell and Ryan Boyle are one-upping each other with the all-time points record, and then the Outlaws' regular-season winning streak came to an end this weekend. Earlier in the year, Jesse Schwartzman set the wins record. With Leveille, Powell, Boyle and other vets like John Grant Jr. still tearing up the league, let's enjoy it and appreciate all these guys have done for the league.
