The No. 13 UMass women's lacrosse team fell 14-7 on Saturday afternoon at No. 5 and sixth-seeded Loyola on Saturday afternoon in the NCAA First Round. Haley Smith led UMass with a pair of goals, while Katie Florence made nine saves in goal. Meg Decker led all players with five goals as the Greyhounds will head to North Carolina next Saturday.
The Minutewomen finished the season 17-3 overall - the second most wins in program history.
